Toaster
Alright, so it is time to write another blog on one of my favorite people and since i am sitting in the airport and really have nothing better to do i decided now is the right time. the person i am going to write about this time has always been very dear to me but since i have been away from her for almost 6 weeks i feel a little bit more strongly right now. i miss her for a number of reasons. the person i am going to write about is my little sister Tory.
Tory and I are three years apart. Growing up we didnt have as much of a close relationship. She had her little friends and I was just so much bigger and more mature than all of them. She was just that annoying little sister that followed me and my friends around but all that changed as we both matured and realized it was a lot more fun to be friends cause who doesnt want to live with one of their friends.
We have had many good memories together. Some of these have happened in our own home, some in the suv on the way to florida, some in florida, some at youth things and some with the friends that we both have and share.
Tory has always been the funny one in our family. As a little kid she was blunt. Very blunt! Whatever came to her mind she would say. this caused for some very humorous moments but then also for some embarrassing times for the rest of the family. :) As she grew up she changed in that she didnt really say anything to strangers or in a crowd at all. You have to ask her things if you want a response. However when you get her with some of her close friends it is not uncommon to see her talking and the other girls sitting around her holding their stomachs cause they are laughing so hard.
While i was gone emailing and chatting with her were some of my favorite times. my friends would come into the room and wonder why i am laughing so hard at my computer. "oh its just my sister!" i would say. i think everyone needs a tory in their life to keep them amused and happy.
Some of things Tory enjoy and is really good at are: drawing, making people laugh and showing love to every animal she sees. Recently our puppy died and Tory immediately started asking for the next puppy. In fact I am quite sure she was asking for another dog before he even died. the other day she told me she was at the beach and played with a strangers dogs cause the owner wasnt playing with him. I am also amazed when she comes down from her room with a new drawing. she is good and i think she should do more of it! She also has an amazing memory when it comes to song lyrics or artists names, movie names or actors. i have never understood just how she can do that.
Some things Tory doesnt appreciate are little kids when she has to take care of them or baking and cooking. there is nothing wrong with this. people are made different, but it is sure fun to see her expression when holding a kid. :)
I love Tory very much and wouldnt trade her for anything. I am super excited to see her again and looking forward to many good sister bonding times in the near future.
There is only one Tory and i am so glad she is my sister.
