I Can Only Imagine...

I have days where my heart aches...my heart aches to go to Heaven. I don't know what heaven is going to be like, but I like to imagine. I like to picture it in my mind. I like to think about how it might be.

I imagine things like sitting down with my aunts and just talking... :) I imagine getting teased by my uncle and laughing and joking with him. I imagine seeing mom's reunited with their children. I imagine Dad's seeing their daughters that they lost at a young age. I imagine husbands being reunited with their wives. I imagine one of the biggest and best reunions you could ever imagine. I imagine Grandparents seeing grandkids that they havn't ever met. Have you ever watches any videos on YouTube of soldiers coming home to their families? I imagine that some of the reuniting that will be going on will be somewhat like that only 100 times better yet!

And then there is the scenery....I can't even put into words how beautiful I think it will be. If we have things like the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls and so many more here on earth what could possibly be all in Heaven? Only so so much more and better! The apple orchard in the spring when in bloom is one of the most beautiful things....I imagine in Heaven everything will be blooming all the time. I imagine the water will be a perfect blue color and the sand a pretty white. I picture perfectly green grass and then there are the streets of gold and mansions!!! Are you excited yet?! 

Best yet...we get to meet Jesus! I can only imagine!

I don't know what heaven is going to be like and think it is impossible for our earthly bodies and brains to fully comprehend what it will be like but I am excited to go there.

The anticipation of heaven is what keeps me going on days that on earth here are lacking. Days that you wish you could have stayed in bed cause nothing good happened since you got out of it. On days like these I think of heaven and all of sudden my day brightens. To me heaven is a happy thought and happy thoughts make my day better!

Some day..not too long from now we get to go to heaven, where there is no pain, no suffering, no worry, no waiting, no disappointment, no struggles, no death, no cancer, no accidents.......just lots and lots of smiling!! Are you ready?

Alright, so it is time to write another blog on one of my favorite people and since i am sitting in the airport and really have nothing better to do i decided now is the right time. the person i am going to write about this time has always been very dear to me but since i have been away from her for almost  6 weeks i feel a little bit more strongly right now. i miss her for a number of reasons. the person i am going to write about is my little sister Tory. Thankful Musings!

  You know every year thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. I am not entirely sure why because for one it means winter is almost here which I don’t appreciate at all, two it is usually very cold and three it is very busy and there isn’t much time to relax. However the weekend of thanksgiving always end making me feel happy and thankful for the life that I have and the people that are in my life. A couple things have really stuck out to me this thanksgiving that I would love to share with you guys. One of the things that I have been really thankful for this year is a family that doesn’t depend on the success of their business and money for happiness. You see this fall we, as a family are only getting about 10 to 15 percent of our regular crop of apples. The Big Round Ticking Clock

I have been thinking a lot this week about time and how we spend it. Its been a very busy week and it is a busy time of year so this will vary for me depending on the time of year. When I disected this past week this is what I came up with. Now my question I want to ponder tonight is just what I did with those 54.5 hours? Did I use them wisely? Now of course there are many things I didnt document here. Like showering and getting ready in the morning/evening etc. Like driving from place to place. Like devotion time. But all week I felt like I had no time. I was running here and there and not sure just how I was gonna get everything done. But now that I do this I feel like I may have had extra time if I would have just managed it a bit better. There are things that I have to do but its what I do with those extra hours that count.
